Summer Weekly Fresh Market Bag

Looking for a way to eat healthily and support our local farmers and food artisans at the same time?

Just sign up for The Greener Grocer’s Summer Weekly Fresh Market Bag (WFMB) beginning on Tuesday, May 17th, 2011 with the last pick up scheduled for Tuesday, November 8th, 2011.

Bags are $20/week for a medium bag and $30/week a large bag.

Pick up times are Tuesday from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. at The Greener Grocer, and Tuesday 4 p.m. -7 p.m. at the Clintonville Resource Center. **Free Delivery is available to a single location for self-organized groups of 15+ WFMB subscribers**

The summer WFMB will include local fruits and vegetables and occasionally feature locally milled flour, artisan cheese and a few other treats. (Vegan option available) Our goal is to provide healthy, local and seasonal items for your plate allowing you to take advantage of the bounty of the harvest season in Ohio!

Some of the proceeds from this program are donated to Local Matters to support their on-going efforts to create a healthy community through the lens of local food.  For example, their Veggie Van, a mobile farm market on wheels, helps to provide access to local, healthy fruits and vegetables for our underserved neighborhoods during the summer months.  Your participation in this WFMB program also allows us to make weekly donations to the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center. Simply put: it's your chance to do good by eating well!

You can pay for the 26-week season in installments or in one, lump sum. If fifteen or more of your colleagues or friends sign up, we offer delivery to a single location for free!  The Greener Grocer and the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center will continue to be the available as primary pick-up locations.
