Winter Weekly Fresh Market Bag
Just because it's getting colder doesn't mean that you can't continue to eat healthily and support our local farmers and food artisans!
The Greener Grocer’s Weekly Fresh Market Bag (WFMB) will continue into the winter season beginning on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 with the last pick up scheduled for Tuesday, May 11, 2010.
Bags are $20/week for a medium bag and $30/week a large bag.
The winter WFMB will include local produce as long as it is available. We will supplement these offerings with either certified organic or sustainably grown produce, seasonal citrus and other fruits as well as local, dried beans, locally milled flour, artisan cheese and a few other treats. (Vegan option available) Our goal is to provide healthy, local or seasonal items for your plate so that you can continue to eat well in the cold of winter and into the awakening of spring!
Part of the proceeds from this program are used to build support for our Veggie Van, our mobile farm market on wheels which delivers local, healthy fruits and vegetables to our underserved neighborhoods during the summer months. Your participation in this program also allows us to make weekly donations to the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center. It's your chance to do good by eating well!
As with our summer program, you can pay for the 26 week season in installments or in one, lump sum. If ten or more of your colleagues or friends sign up, we offer delivery to a single location for free! The Greener Grocer and the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center will continue to be the available pick-up locations.
